Minority pre matric how to apply
Step 1 : Logon to www.scholarships.gov.in
Step 2 : Register, get the Temporary ID
Step 3 : Fill Personal Details & Academic Details
Step 4 : Upload Scan Copy of 10 Documents
Step 5 : Fill Bank Details
Step 6 : Fill Contact Detalis
Step 7 : Verify all details
Step 8 : Confirm and Submit
Step 9 : Note down Permanent ID
Step 10 : Take Printout and keep for reference
Things to do before starting to fill the ONLINE application
Step 1 : Download Student Declaration, Religion Declaration & Institution Verification
Step 2 : Student must put his/her Signature on Student Declaration Form
Step 3 : Student must put his/her Signature on Religion Declaration Form
Step 3 : School HM / Principal must put Seal and Signature on Institution Verification Form
Step 4 : Student must put his/her Signature on a Blank white page ( This will be scanned )
Step 5 : Scan documents ( File size should be less than 100kb ) - All documents are must

2. Admission Fee Receipt
3. Tuition Fee Receipt
4. BPL Card / Income Certificate / Caste & Income Certificate
5. Previous Academic Years Marks Sheet
6. Self Declaration of Student
7. Religion Declaration
8. Institution Verification Form
9. Residence Proof Document ( Aadhaar Card / Ration Card / Voter Card)
10. Bank Passbook 1st Page
11. Aadhar Card - Not Compulsory
Top 5 Challenges
No. 1 : Scanning of documents. Needs to be done at a Cyber Cafe or at school. It will take them atleast 30 mins to do a scan. If students go to Cyber Cafe they are vulnerable to anything.
No. 2 : Generally all scan documents are more than 100KB. Hence another trouble for students is to reduce the size of the image using another software.
No. 3 : Online Entry - 30 mins to 60 mins (Depending on Server Speed)
No. 4 : Locating the School based on the BEO Office it come under and Adding the School Name to the software if the school is not listed.
No. 5 : Last date to apply is 31 Aug 2016
